The Library Board of Trustees is made up of City of Carlyle residents, appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. The responsibilities of the Board of Trustees include the approval of library operating budget and developing library policies and procedures. The Library Board of Trustees meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Library, which is located at 571 Franklin Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
