Special Events for the Whole Family

Monday, June 4, 6:30 - Angata!  This program features drummers, danccers, and storytellers making traditional West African Folklore come alive in a performance that will get everybody moving.

Monday, June 11, 2:00 - Delicious Music by Tom and Theresa:  Reading is So Delicious!  Groove to old favorites like Cheese and Crackers, Shortenin' Bread, and the Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly with acoustic guitar, Irish whistle, flutes, and vocals.

Monday, June 18, 2:00 - Lucky Stars:  Jay and Leslie are the lucky stars of this program featuring juggling tricks, wacky humor, and new twists on classic bedtime stories.  Follow your lucky stars to the library for this dream come true for the whole family.

Monday, June 25, 2:00 - Yurtfolk:  This program will serve up a feast of fun surrounding food and culture from around the world.  Yurtfolk will help us devour the ingredients that await us when we pour ourselves into a variety of books.

Monday, July 9, 2:00 - Nitro Joe's Science Show: Thes ephemeral and billowing show will allow children to understand just how real air is.  Nitro Joe will use air pressure to crush objects and move things around.

Monday, July 23, 2:00 - Rick Rayburn:  This highly active concert will have kids laughing, singing, and dancing up a storm with lots of audience participation to fun and silly songs.

Monday, July 30, 2:00 - Animal Tales: Scales and Tails!  This program features 5-6 live animals including a large tortoise, lizards, and snakes.  Participants will be asked to interact with the animals throughout the program.
